Our Honey Flavor is designed for lip balm but is great for countless other applications. Our pure flavor is top quality and tastes great. Please note, we do not add sweetener to any of our flavors deliberately to extend the shelf life on them.
Suggested Usage Rates
- Melt & Pour Soap: 1-1.5%
- Cold Process Soap: 1-5%
- Shampoo: 0.5-1.5%
- Conditioner: 0.25-2%
- Body Wash: 0.5-1.5%
- Face Wash: 0.2-1%
- Bubble Bath: 0.5-1.5%
- Bath Salts: 0.4-1%
- Lotion: 0.25-2%
- Lip Balm: 2-5%
- Soy Candles: 6-10%

Honey flavor no way
This isn’t honey. It smells heavily of honeysuckle flowers, which isn’t even close to a honey scent. It might be okay in a candle if you like a strong florals, but most people won’t want this on their lips. If you want an actual honey flavor, this isn’t it.

More clover than honey
My first impression on opening this product was that the smell was more of clover than of honey. I noticed as I continued making the lip balm that the potency of the fragrance diminished and I think the honey taste is not reminiscent of honey. I won't purchase this one again for my products.

Perfect for lip balm.
I bought three honey scented items to try to find the most authentic honey "experience" for my homemade lip balms. This one was the closest to me. Slightly sweet and strong pleasant smell. Honey scent really is subjective and each person has different expectations. This one was the nicest scent-it didn't overwhelm, just gave a mildly pleasing tone to the balms. Very nice.
