Olive Oil Pomace
The pomace version of olive oil is produced from the pulp leftover from the first pressing of olive oil. It is refined, slightly less “olive” scented, and has a clearer color than traditional olive oil. Olive Oil Pomace does work slightly differently than its origin. When used in cold process soap, for example, it produces a pure, white soap rather than a yellow one derived from Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and has a slightly accelerated trace. Its recommended uses are in soaps such as cold process facial bars and goats milk, shampoo, castile soap, and generally in natural soap making.

Not the same quality it used to be
I have been purchasing this oil for years in the large drum. We noticed a change in out last order. The oil is much lighter in color and makes our soaps very soft now. When we contacted the company they stated that they changed vendors of this oil. It is definitely not top quality olive pumice oil.

Pomace Olive oil gallon
I read reviews before purchasing and found that people complained about it not being in inventory and shipping delayed. Mine was ordered and 2 days later on its way. My problem was that it should be "GALLON" not weight of the gallon jug. I thought I was getting the larger size. My mistake. I apprecaite it being shipped out so quickly Thank you very much

Olive Oil Pomace
This is a great soap making oil, but is hardly in stock. Even now I am trying to buy a barrel, but so many of my orders get backordered I need to call the company to have them do a visual check if the order has been filled.

I love this product. It is so good for my soaps. I wish Bulk Apothecary could keep it in stock more, but at least I know that means they get it fresher.

Heavy and dark
I was surprised by the darkness of the oil, but it has been amazingly consistent. I gave it 4 stars because I just wish it was a little lighter in color.

The oil is a little green in color but I can work with it because it is more moisturizing than just plain Olive oil. Nice product!

Grest size for a newbie
