I decided to make a mechanic/gardener soap and put this in it. I call it the skin loving version of lava. The guys I've had use it so far say it feels just like lava, but leaves their hands feeling amazing!!
You DO, have to use quite a bit because it's ground pretty fine.
I keep a bar of it in my shower to use on the bottoms of my feet and elbows.
Note: I tried using this on my face as a scrub, and it's too coarse for that.

I made foot soap molds using oatmeal soap, peppermint EO, pumice and almond oil. Family went nuts over them. The pumice is the perfect grit for this foot scrub and a pound makes a lot of foot scrubs. Also, used it in a bath butter - same recipe, except used foaming bath butter instead of soap.

I've started making homemade soaps, and my husband,who owns a construction business, needed something that was going to really clean his skin after a hard day's work. So I made a nourishing goats milk soap with bay rum scent and pumice. Not only is his skin soft and squeaky clean, but he smells really nice. I started using it. Nice texture. The grit is perfect.

I bought the smaller bag of pumice to get a better idea of package size. I was quite impressed. 1 lb is a good amount & it is very fine ground.

This pumice powder has just the right grit size to make my facial scrub effective, and for a reasonable price.

I used this ground pumice in some mechanic's soap. It did make the soap set up much quicker than usual, but is a nice, fine texture that mixed in quickly and very well. Nothing chunky that would be uncomfortable while using a bar of soap. I think it turned out great and love the price!
