(Please Note: This is NOT a melt and pour soap base and can not be melted down. You will need to cut bars to size. It is in this section because many soap makers cut the larger blocks and sell them under their brand similar to how they sell the melt and pour soaps.)

African Black Soaps have a very high natural glycerin content, As a result, it readily absorbs moisture from the air leading to a thin white-colored film on the surface. This is not mold or harmful to the soap. Simply put water on the soap and it will disappear.
Ingredients: Honey, shea butter, osun (camwood), palm kernal oil, cocoa pod ash, palm bunch ash, aloe vera, lime juice, water, fragrance (fragrance is only in the bar sizes, 10lb. block is not fragranced.)

Great for problem skin

This soap is so awesome smelling, I even got my husband to switch from Safeguard soap after 30 years! I even like the feeling I get after showering compared to regular soap

have only used it once since i received my 10 lb block, but i did buy the single bar first ( to try it out) loved the bar hated the over powering scent. the block is unscented and i and glad. smooth velvety lathering rinses squeaky clean but not drying.

Unique!!
This soap has a unique and exotic smell, but not at all overpowering! The best part is you get an amazing clean feeling, but not over drying. I've only used it once so far, so I can't speak for the long term benefits yet. I will be buying more, though.

My husband switched
My husband used Safeguard for over 30 years and I quit buying store brands and bought this soap and when he ran out, he used mine and fell in love. It even leaves the bathroom with a great, fresh aroma. I even use it to wash my hair.
