It's a wick
They are stiff enough they don't go to wimpy when the wax is cooling. Still need to prop it up, but easy to work with. Smaller quantity would if been nice.

It got the job done. But one thing that would make this product even better is if it has its own sticky at the bottom rather than having to buy them separately.
