Virginia & Texas EOs
The descriptions of these are fairly accurate. The Virginia Cedar has a mild "pencil wood" scent. The Texas Cedar really shines as what I think of when I think of a cedar fragrance. It's fairly strong and definitely has that tarry, woody cedar smell and it's what we ended up using for our masculine fragrances for our soap line.
Both work well in cold process soap. -
Disappointed
I ordered Cedarwood Himalayan and it doesn’t smell at all like Cedarwood. I can’t even describe the smell but it doesn’t even resemble Cedarwood at all. Disappointed.

This is not Cedar Atlas
I ordered Cedar Atlas, which I have used many times. This is a match to Himalayan Cedar.It does not have the fresh cedar closet scent Atlas has, rather a slightly cat pee odor. I have both and this is in no way Atlas. I've always been pleased with Bulk's essential oils but this is in no way correct for Cedar Atlas.

Virginia Cedarwood oil
I ordered this oil based on the scent description and when I received it I wasn't disappointed--Awesome scent. I use this essential oil for making my beard oil and it's perfect...smells as described. BA has excellent customer service and the shipping was fast. Well packed- no breakage or leaks. I will definitely order from BA again and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Strong pleasant scent
I love Bulk Apothecary's Cedarwood EO. I've used the Atlas for months. It has a pleasant yet sharp scent. Just got the Virginian. While still strong, it's a milder scent. Great as a diffuser blend, in men's products like after shave, and for hair growth.
