Soap smell is strong but not offensive
I really like the consistency this soap whips up to and it holds its shape in the container. As others have mentioned, it does have a unique odor - not bad - but it's there. I tried making it a chocolate/cocoa flavor and thought i'd added plenty of fragrance, but the soap scent is still very present. I'll add more fragrance next time and maybe a scent that is more floral would work better.

It's so easy to make foaming salt scrub with this base! No cooking or melting. Just mix with carrier oil. Epsom salts, scents and color. Whip and put in a jar. It cleans, moisturizes, and exfoliates. You can use it in the shower, the tub, or at the kitchen sink.

This is a really versatile soap base and gentle too! Most of the other suppliers of the 2 lb size of this product were sold out and on back order. I found it at Bulk and for less than the other suppliers! Thanks Bulk!!!

Perfect
This is exactly what I've been searching for. The other bases like this on the market may be paraben free, but they're filled with formaldehyde releasers. They are also too soft, like a shaving cream consistency while may feel good, always had a tendency to deflate in the jar. This base is harder, BUT if you add extra oil and glycerin it softens to the perfect consistency without the risk of "deflating". It has virtually no scent and therefor takes my scents very well. Also takes other additives well. The price point is pretty good as well. I wish the 25 lb container had more of a discount though. Not really even worth it. Will continue to purchase from here!

Love this stuff whipped
I add shea olein and whip this, add essential oil and dead sea salt and what a lathering head to toe scrub it makes!
