Our Grapefruit Flavor is designed for lip balm but is great for countless other applications. Our pure flavor is top quality and tastes great. Please note, we do not add sweetener to any of our flavors deliberately to extend the shelf life on them.
Suggested Usage Rates
- Melt & Pour Soap: 1-1.5%
- Cold Process Soap: 1-5%
- Shampoo: 0.5-1.5%
- Conditioner: 0.25-2%
- Body Wash: 0.5-1.5%
- Face Wash: 0.2-1%
- Bubble Bath: 0.5-1.5%
- Bath Salts: 0.4-1%
- Lotion: 0.25-2%
- Lip Balm: 2-5%
- Soy Candles: 6-10%

Awesome!
I just made a batch of lip balm using the grape flavor. The scent reminds me of grape cool-Aid!. I used Organic raw honey with my lip balm base and it seems to bring out the flavor. I really love this one

5 stars with a little help
The first batch of lip balm I made with this flavor oil fell a little flat ***, was looking for something closer to the pink grapefruit Burts Bees. The second batch I made I added a few drops of BA grapefruit essential oil and a little sweetener and kicked it right up to 5 stars. Adjust your EO according to your taste, I keep a metal spoon in the freezer and dip it in the lip balm before pouring to gauge if it needs more flavor, EO, or sweetener. So worth the extra effort!

Very mild fragrance
I'm fairly new at making lip balms and have purchased all of my flavors from Bulk Apothecary. This scent is a lovely true grapefruit but super mild. I added a lot more of this flavor to my batch and it's just barely scented. I'll remember to add even more next time
