Jasmine (Grandiflorum) Absolute 3% Dilution Essential Oil

SDS

Botanical Name: Jasminum grandiflorum

Plant Part: Flowers

Extraction Method: Solvent

Extraction Consistency: Thick

Note: Middle

Strength of Aroma: Light

Aromatic Scent: Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute has a smooth, extremely intense floral smell that is both sweet and lingering.

Cautions: It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution. Otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance - particularly the rare and exotic notes - becomes lost.

    Love this oil!

I wish Jasmine weren't so expensive, I would purchase it full strength. But even this dilution is nice when mixed with a nice massage oil.

    Good product

I like this oil and the company Bulk Apothecary. However, I wish they would put "filter" on their bottles, like other essential oil companies. I have wasted product because the "mouth" of the bottle does not have a filter.

Smells just as sweet as when my jasmine is blooming.

The aroma make me smile. Flowery but not too overwhelming.. just like having a bunch of jasmine in your hands.

    Good product

Posted by Unknown on 4th Dec 2015

I have used the Jasmine essential oil (dilution), I thought it would have a stronger smell to it. It has a milder smell which I had to add another more fragrant oil to it in order to the the right fragrance for my soap. All in all it is a good product and I will be ordering more in the future.

    A great smelling diluted oil

Posted by elyssa martinez on 25th Nov 2015

I just got my order and have previously tried the grandiflorum but, now I have the Sambac and it is a stronger smell. I do love the oils from this company. And with the economy, I really do hope they remain to keep their oils as true to nature as possible. It is hard finding good oils and at reasonable prices.

    difference between the two Jasmines

Posted by marlene on 25th Sep 2015

I have tried both of the Jasmine dilutions and liked them best. I was not certain about what the difference between the two were so I ordered one then the other. The grandiflorum is less sweet smelling than the sambac. I think the sambac is more of the flowery scent if you are wanting a very floral scent

    Jasmine

Posted by Jill on 9th Sep 2015

Not sure what I was expecting... was hoping for a stronger association of scent - but still happy and will reorder.
I am surrounded by Jasmine and Night Blooming Jasmine on our property. I wanted to bring more inside and also experience with blends.
