This was my first purchase of lemongrass essential oil and it is now my favorite, next to eucalyptus. And lavender, of course. It smells wonderful and has so many beneficial uses. It is excellent for the skin. I put it in the unscented lotion base with frankincense and argan oil (all from Bulk Apothecary, even the bottle I put it all in!) for a powerful moisturizing and skin healing lotion.
It even repels fleas! I mix some lemongrass in a sprayer with some distilled water and spray it around my patio where the cats like to lounge. Great-smelling flea control! Much better than harmful poisons.

I wanted an oil that was more "green" and less "lemon". This fits the bill. There is a distinct grassy smell and not as sweet as regular oils from lemon peels. I combined it with Wintergreen for my laundry detergent and was surprised by the fresh minty result.
