I used these in a therapeutic lotion at 5%, and then in another formula at 2% just for a light minty aroma. What's really cool is that I used cocoa butter in my formula so there is a hint of Chocolate Mint going on in the 2% formula. In the 5% formula all I can smell is the menthol...as intended. These easily dissolved in FCO (taken from my batch weight) and I zapped the mixture in the microwave for no more than 10 seconds for them to melt. Then added the mix and any additional EO to my formula. Dissolve in oils, not water, not glycerin.
