Pure Orange (5 fold) Essential Oil
Botanical Name: Citrus sinensis
Plant Part: Fruit Peel
Extraction Method: Cold Pressed
Origin: USA
Description: Orange is derived from an evergreen tree. It is smaller than the bitter orange tree, and less hardy with fewer or no spines. The fruit itself has a sweet pulp with no bitter membrane. Orange Five Fold Oil is more concentrated than the regular citrus essential oils. Through extended distillation, terpenes are removed from the oil rendering more suitable for cosmetic applications.
Color: Dark orange to golden brown liquid
Consistency: Thin
Note: Middle
Strength of Aroma: Medium
Aromatic Scent: Orange Five Fold Essential Oil has a sweet, citrus smell much like the orange peels it is derived from, only more intense and concentrated.
Cautions: Some aromatherapists have reported that a small percentage of few people have experienced dermatitis from the limonene content of sweet orange. Orange Essential Oil is considered photo-toxic and exposure to sunlight should be avoided. Do not use if pregnant.

Great in CP soap!
First time using this in goat milk CP soap. WOW! Smells like fresh orange juice! The soap did turn light orange, but it still looks good. The orange fragrance is absolutely lovely in my soap. I did use more than I usually do with fragrance. I will definitely use again in my soaps! Ten stars!!

Fragrant Orange Scent
This is the first time I am using EO from Bulk Apothecary, and I am pleased by the products. The 16 oz comes in a handy and sturdy metal canister. The scent is very pleasing and strong. I tested this initially last week in a rebatch of soap, and it smells delicious. Looking forward to seeing how long the scent will last in my soap (shelf-life), but so far, so good! I'd like to use this in dish soap and may lotions too, going forward.

Glorious scent!
Even compared to Aura Cacia, Do Terra, and a few others, including BA's sweet Orange, for aromatherapy this can't be beat! The smell is fresh, but wonderfully robust, SOOO uplifting in a diffuser which I run pretty much 24/7! My only problem is that it seems to mess up, plug up, or otherwise block the rather expensive atomizers for my aroma breeze diffuser. I know that citrus oils are banned from some of the cheaper vaporizer type diffusers, but I was assured when I took the plunge and bought this more expensive atomizing diffuser that puts out billows of vaporized pure oil which stays in the air much longer than the water molecules of the vaporizer type diffusers. ANYWAY, I learned that Orange is a simple but powerful mood elevator and used in doctor's offices of the doctors who "get" the power of essential oils for disinfectants and mood lifting, Even if they don't go further into using oils in treatment Orange is a common favorite as it is a disinfectant, anti-viral/bacterial/fungal all while smelling scrumptious...And THIS one in particular!
I just ordered a 16 oz bottle and it wasn't a week old when it seems to have blocked, (partially softened the delicate maze-like mechanism that vaporizes the oils straight from the bottle in the Aroma Breeze?) or SOMETHING like that! This is the second atomizer I've gone thru since adding a good bit of this Orange to my blends daily. (So, about three WEEKS only! An atomizer should last 6-12 months easy if cared for!) Maybe other oranges might not be so much of a problem...But then they wouldn't smell so wonderful!
My energy levels have gone up MARKEDLY since I did so as well! I'm disabled, with Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, thyroid disease ad nauseam! And diffusing these oils has really helped me, but I was surprised at how much this Orange does because simple oranges aren't generally thought of as terribly therapeutic. It certainly has proved therapeutic for me, I'm up and doing things I haven't even THOUGHT of in years! I'd gotten SOOO tired of saying, "Well, before I got sick I USED to..." now my son, my youngest who's never known me healthy is starting to see that I really CAN do things!
Otherwise, I have not tried ingesting this since I don't know what tests BA runs on each batch of oils, but i HAVE used it topically and again, the scent is more noticeable and lasts a bit longer than regular sweet oranges or most EOs period! Good staying power! :-D
So I hope I can find a blend that gives me this lovely Orange scent and yet quits disintegrating my atomizers!!
If I solve this riddle I'll come back and let you know and be able to change my rating to 5 stars! :-D
