I had an order for patchouli candles and my normal supplier did not carry the scent at all. My client loved them so much, she bought all of them! I did notice that the candle scent was not as strong as I was accustomed to. Extremely happy with my purchase (and so was my customer!)

Out of the bottle it smells pretty good, once in soap it smells kinda of artificial...but hold off and let your soap cure a bit and it'll mellow into a very pleasant, natural patchouli Fragrance! I made CP goat's milk with a bit of unrefined cocoa butter(recipe experiment lol), not sure how much the butter affected the scent. Would buy again :)

Exactly as patchouli should smell; organic/dark/earthy.. will be simple to combine with other oils. Will likely buy more.

Mix with Mountain Rain Fragrance Oil in my diffuser and wax melts and my house smells like a nice airy day.

I seriously thought Bulk Apothecary made a mistake in labeling. The Patchouli fragrance is so true to the essential oil smell. It leaked a bit during shipping, and the box smells great!ha ha

I ordered this for making a candle for a friend. I am not familiar with this fragrance but it smelled clean and not over powering.

We've tried many different patchouli fragrances and this is by far the best. Yes, it's pricey, but this is a case of you get what you pay for. Performs wonderfully in cold process soap - no acceleration or discoloration. We find it pairs well with the Sandalwood & Amber fragrance.

I am a huge fan of patchouli and I wish I could put it in everything I make! Smells very similar to the Dark Patchouli EO but, as another reviewer indicated, not nearly as heavy.

I loved the scent but the dropper broke when opening the bottle and it's difficult to dispense. I'll have to buy a dropper.
