I have been looking for the perfect peony scent for my cold process soap since Alaska is now considered the Peony capitol of the USA and now a cash crop here. I didn't think it smelled exactly like peony, but the scent was nice and my customers loved it. I sold out of it within a few Farmers Markets here in Homer, AK, so ordered much more. It did accelerate at trace in making cold process soap, so be aware and prepared to act fast as soon as you add the fragrance to your soap. (but I have found this typical in most floral fragrances, so always prepared to act fast in those). I add local dried peony petals to this soap, making it desirable to the tourist who want to take something locally Homer home.

Frankly, I can't stand this scent. It is too extreme for me. But, my customers love it so I make bath bombs with it!

Peony FO
I was very pleased with product. I have purchased other Peony FO and this one is by far the closest to the "Peony" fragrance that I can smell. Peony is a very difficult fragrance to duplicate. I used for the first time in my cold process soap today and was very pleased to see that it help up well. I am hoping after the cure it will as well since I have a standing order for this scent. Thank you

Candles, CP Soap... Yes!
This FO performs well in CP soap which is a must for me, and it throws well in soy wax. I love this smell, and so do most of my customers. Spot on, BA! Thanks!

You really have to love the smell of peonies to like this one!
I've grown up with this scent in many mainstream commercial products, and it smells in some ways a little outdated to my well seasoned nose. I'm not sure I would ever use this as a stand-alone scent, however, it has become an integral ingredient in one of my new fragrance blends. Blended with other florals from Bulk Apothecary is transforms into a most beautiful mid and top note, so for that reason I love this.
I bought this on a whim, if I'm honest, as I'm always keen to try out new fragrances and to expand my repertoire when it comes to creating new and unique perfumes. I'm so pleased I did. It's a great quality product with a long lasting scent, intense too, and for the value, I couldn't ask for more. -
Perfect Peony
Smells just like the peonies in my garden and performs well in cold process (can even swirl a couple colors)!
