Thieves Oil

The story of how this blend was created comes from the legend of four thieves which was cited in a number of aromatherapy books. The basic premise of the story is that for centuries, the bubonic plague outbreaks decimated Asian and European cultures. From this period came popular legends of thieves who were captured and charged with stealing from the dead. When the thieves were finally tried, they were offered leniency if they would reveal how they avoided contracting the infection as they performed these horrible acts. They revealed a concoction of herbs and vinegar known as thieves oil that they rubbed on themselves before committing their crimes. As time went on, researchers have taken the essential oils from some of these herbs sited in the legend and applied them to popular essential oil blends. It is important to note this is a legend and should not be used to support theories that thieves oil can prevent the bubonic plague or any other disease or infection.

Uses for our version of
Thieves Essential Oil
Thieves oil is a proprietary blend of essential oils that was made popular by Young Living. Because of the popularity of this oil many large companies in the aromatherapy industry have created compare to products that mimic the thieves essential oil recipe. - Add 3 to 4 drops of the essential oil to our best essential oil diffuser and diffuse for approximately 20 to 30 minutes to freshen the air in your home or workplace
- Make a 2% dilution of the essential oil blend in a base of fractionated coconut oil for use on your skin. This can also be mixed with your favorite massage oil for a muscle soothing massage.
- Breath it in by mixing 2% oil with hot water and breathe in the vapors.(be careful not to get too close and risk hot water splashing up on you or getting burned by the hot pan. )
- Fill a spray bottle with water and add the essential oil blend at a 2% dilution to make an all-purpose cleaning spray, which can be used on countertops, desks, and other surfaces. Make sure to shake before using, as the oil and water will naturally separate.

Buy it!!
I read all the reviews and thought 'here we go again..' I have used and love the original but am a little strapped for $$ recently and have tried others claims of the same as original.They were nowhere close.
So I bought the smallest bottle to try, difused and used as would the original; turned around and bought 1 pound and will buy 5 pounds next month-I think that says it all!!!!!!! -

Resonable priced
I love the smell and how it works for me. I use it on my feet with palm oil and it acts a deodorizer in my shoes and helps with my toes that had yellowing on the nails but is gone now. Like to use when I get an insect bit which used right away does not swell up.

A Great Product!
After sitting through an Essential Oils 101 Class and then experiencing sticker shock looking at that company's pricing, I thought I'd have to take out a mortgage to purchase the oils I needed! Thank goodness I kept looking and found Bulk Apothecary on line!
I have to admit that I was skeptical about the quality I would be receiving, but my fears were a waste of energy. Everything came through exactly as ordered and of the very highest quality. The Bulk Apothecary version of "Thieves" is fantastic! It's every bit as good as the higher priced name brand! Don't be fooled by the hype spewed by the others as they try to get your money. Great product, best price
We use this product (Thieves Oil) for so many things. One of our cars had a leak around the door and had 2 inches of water under the carpet. After two half oz. were defused in the car, thee was no order of mold to be found. We use it throughout the house, especially in the basement where it has always been moldy. Not so much any more. We buy in bulk, last order 5 pounds, to help cut the cost of mass defusing. Once again, Great product, best price!

Best oil for sore throats to cold or flu
This oil blend is amazing. I use it at the first sign of a sore throat and never get as sick as I use to or not at all. I also use it for my grandkids. Love it!
