The story of how this blend was created comes from the legend of four thieves which was cited in a number of aromatherapy books. The basic premise of the story is that for centuries, the bubonic plague outbreaks decimated Asian and European cultures. From this period came popular legends of thieves who were captured and charged with stealing from the dead. When the thieves were finally tried, they were offered leniency if they would reveal how they avoided contracting the infection as they performed these horrible acts. They revealed a concoction of herbs and vinegar known as thieves oil that they rubbed on themselves before committing their crimes. As time went on, researchers have taken the essential oils from some of these herbs sited in the legend and applied them to popular essential oil blends. It is important to note this is a legend and should not be used to support theories that thieves oil can prevent the bubonic plague or any other disease or infection.

Uses for our version of
Thieves Essential Oil
Thieves oil is a proprietary blend of essential oils that was made popular by Young Living. Because of the popularity of this oil many large companies in the aromatherapy industry have created compare to products that mimic the thieves essential oil recipe. - Add 3 to 4 drops of the essential oil to our best essential oil diffuser and diffuse for approximately 20 to 30 minutes to freshen the air in your home or workplace
- Make a 2% dilution of the essential oil blend in a base of fractionated coconut oil for use on your skin. This can also be mixed with your favorite massage oil for a muscle soothing massage.
- Breath it in by mixing 2% oil with hot water and breathe in the vapors.(be careful not to get too close and risk hot water splashing up on you or getting burned by the hot pan. )
- Fill a spray bottle with water and add the essential oil blend at a 2% dilution to make an all-purpose cleaning spray, which can be used on countertops, desks, and other surfaces. Make sure to shake before using, as the oil and water will naturally separate.

Great Product!
I buy oils all the time. I always buy Young Living Essential Oils. But I won't be buying them ever again! I was floored with the quality of these oils. Mine package came today. I opened it and the smell was overwhelming. I thought a bottle had leaked. But none had. These are a very good quality of oils. I will be telling all my friends and be purchasing from bulk apothecary from now on. I wish I would have found this site years ago. Their version of the Thieves is awesome. You won't be sorry.

Candida cleanser-The Silent Killer
My grandaughter had been given many antibiotics for ear infections before the age of 3. My mother, daughter, grand-daughter and I also muscle tested for yeast overgrowth. Our naturopath instructed us to do a cleanse of 10-days with no sugar feeders and acidoliphus to put the good bacteria back in. Well it was taking longer than 10 days for my daughter and I. But my mom's yeast cleared up in less than 2 months just using the Thieves oil. So I as a natural healer have started first with the Thieves oil and then adding the diet etc.
