Reindeer Retreat has a unique scent that is perfect for holiday products! I used this fragrance oil in cold process soap and did not notice any discoloration but it did accelerate trace quite a bit so be ready to move fast. I will definitely purchase again next winter.

This fragrance performed well in my cold process soap! I soaped at around 110 for this batch and I had no problems. Two weeks later, scent retention is still strong and it's quickly becoming one of my most requested items.

I used this in a beard oil with the intent of making a nice pine scent. It has a great pine scent up front, but then after a couple hours the pine subsided and the floral notes took over and I smelt like a grandma.

what a wonderful winter, holiday smell...mixed a small amount of reindeer retreat with my pre-mixws eucaluptus lotion and the result was amazing less like Christmas and more wintery and mysterious...am happy with my purchase

Intended for a Christmas soap that would go to a wide range of people, this was a little too woodsy. However, when used as 15% of my FO with "Sleigh Ride"? Ah-mazing. I spent the night inhaling my soap. Both are great on their own, for different purposes.
However, one of the two accelerated fast and hard. I'm thinking it's probably the "Sleigh Ride" because of the more floral and spicy notes, but if you're making CP and using this, you might want to watch for it. I noticed no discoloration, though I did use the fragrance in an indigo-colored portion of the batch. But, after three days, it hasn't done anything odd. I'll update if I notice anything during cure.

At first i wasnt too sure about this fragrance because it had a strange background odor to it when it has just been taken straight out of the bottle. But after the soap i made had some good time to cool and set up, it smells amazing! My mom took one quick whiff of the finished soap and said "OOH, thats Christmas!"

My husband loves this scent. It's great for a manly type scent for soaps.

I am sold on this fragrance... smells wonderful in our cold process soaps. Not over powering and a little goes a long way.
