    My husband loves this!

My husband rates this tops. He had been using Colonel Conk but thinks this is much better. He likes the lather and how smoothly the razor glides over his skin. You've made a lifetime fan!

    First Time Soap Maker

Posted by Tim on 19th Feb 2013

Got my order last evening! Couldn't wait to get r made! I was only going to make maybe one round of shave soap but decided to go whole hog since I was going to Make A Mess....! I put the 2 lbs. of shave soap base it a clean coffee can (after cutting the base into 1' cubes. Stuck the can into a large pan of water heated it till melted. I added a shot of Spiced Rum, maybe a 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg,1 /'2 c of ground oatmeal, and some musk ( maybe 8 or 10 drops. I added these as the base was cooling. Pour it in a cleaned Pringles can. Let it set all night. Opened the can soap looks and smells excellent. Probably should have given it 5 stars but I haven't shaved Yet! Wished I would have ordered some bentinite to add to it but am hoping the ground oats does the job, this time. Definitely would recommend and will be ordering again!

    Great solid soap

I feared this soap would get "gooey" when wet but it stays nice and solid in the shower. Great for shaving, which is exactly what it says it is.
