Shea butter M & P
Just getting around to using this base (ordered Nov). I noticed the color is lighter (more clear) than usual, it smelled "off", small bubbles were in & on top of the block...plus the white (TD) was all settled at the bottom. Could someone have burnt this batch? This is the first time I have had an issue with a Stephenson base.

Great Quality Soap Base
This soap base performs well for me. It very sudsy and moisturizing. Making soap bars from this base is very easy. I would buy again.

less lather
I continue to use this even with the less lather. I add a solution that helps it lather better. Otherwise this is fine soap

Love, love this shea butter soap base!
I love the Stephenson's goat's milk base, but this is a close second to my favorite! Makes wonderful, easy soaps....lathers well, moisturizes, takes scent and additives well. Just love it!

Smells florally and doesn't lather
I am disappointed. The product is supposed to smell neutral, but instead has a light floral scent that isnt covered by other scents. It does not lather at all, unless i have used it wrong. Won't buy this again

Lather
I am not sure if it is the base or the way I am making my soap but I do not get enough lather from the soap I made using this base. Any advice to help with this?

awesome for an all around natural product
This base is fantastic, I started my business after friends and co-workers wanted more soap so I decided to also offer in my shop. This base holds ingredients very well and finishes beautifully.

As described by other reviews
It seems to be of high quality but I am new to this. The process was a lot more messy than I thought. "Just heat and pour" is not all there is to it. Be prepared to work quickly as there appears to be a sweet spot between melting, mixing, and pouring into the molds.

Great Strong Base!
I use soft moisture rich soap and this has a higher melt point than most, bringing my ingredients together perfectly as a base. I highly recommend it for experimenting or ensuring early success.
