9 ball flexible silicone mold is so easy to use. Unlike other molds, popping the soap out of these is a breeze. Great for cold process and melt & pour soap. Almost round
I wanted to make guest soaps and used this mold. This is a catch 22 type of mold - you have to use a recipe that will result in hard soap. The difficulty is that a hard soap tends to trace very fast, and so it can be difficult to get the batter INTO the mold to begin with.
When pouring I had to actually spoon in some of the soap batter, and then kept tapping the mold to make sure the batter settle in order to prevent air pockets.
When popping out, not all the soap comes out entirely round - there is a slight indent when you coax them out. But overall -very cute. -
