I bought this some time back, and have been using it so had to write a review. This was a highly regarded biblical oil and I now understand why. I find the smell a bit like dirty sox so I like to blend it with lavender or some other oil, but have had wonderful results with it for arthritis pain, spasms, relaxing sleep, anxiety and skin irritation. I cant say enough good about this oil. It is suppose to also help with hormone balance, can't hurt to try.

Received the sample size of this EO. Didn't have high hopes as there is so much fraud in the industry when it comes to Spikenard, but BA did not disappoint! The oil is a blueish-green as it should be, extremely potent and passed the paper patch purity test, no carrier residue. I also did a tiny drop on a cotton qtip and it still smells strong over 2 days later. Now as far as what it smells like, this is some seriously dank earth scent. This is a great thing for those of us who love making earthy and woodsy blends that smell authentic and not like a generic candle. If patchouli smells like a warmer dirt-earthy scent, this Spikenard in comparison smells damp and dank like a herpetology store.. think like the stores that sell turtles, pacman frogs and fish. It's a really awesome scent if you like that dank, damp version of earthy. I tried adding just 2 drops of this Spikenard to 1oz worth of blend, and it gave the whole blend's aroma a much deeper, damper and darker earthy quality to it, exactly my kinda tastes. I can't wait to experiment with it more in some fantasy pond/swamp/forest floor blends. Hella good stuff.

Love spikenard. The quality of this oil is good. I use it to help me sleep. It has a deep forest smell. Very earthy and grounding. Inhaling it always brings me deep into the rainforest.

Very strong and true Spikenard aroma. I buy many essential oils from BA. The only issue that I have encountered is that on every order delivery there is at least one bottle that is not tightly sealed and some of the oil leaks out. Not good especially if the oil is expensive one. Good prices though and Certified Organic products are available.
