Not sure what happened. My first bottle, the .5 0z was strong, potent and blended well with my creams, soaps and body oils which softened the scent to a perfection. Since African Musk had become my top seller, I decided to go with the larger size for my next order, the 16oz. I'm not quite sure what happened. This one was so mild you could barely smell it. I decided to give it a try anyway, hoping the blends would liven up the scent. A HUGE MISTAKE-not only was it a waste of time and money, customers were not satisfied. I will have to try and replace orders or give refunds. I will contact customer service tomorrow and hope to get a satisfactory response from them. If the smaller bottles are more concentrated and cost more, IT'S WELL WORTH IT !!!! I can't afford to compromise my customers' satisfaction over price and quality. Bulk Apothecary, I'm sure what happened but please keep the products consistent. I AM A SATISFIED REPEATING CUSTOMER and would love to continue using your products. I just can't afford to jeopardize loosing my customers who thought I switched my product for a cheaper product. They asked the same question "WHAT HAPPENED"?

This was too strong for some in my family, but I and others love it! Makes a wonderful smelling soap!

Not too strong and not too light. Good in Cold Process soap. Does not fade over time. Doesnt burn the private parts at 5%! Good for my customers with problematic skin! Fine for my daughter with very sensitive skin. too. Rash free. Wow this is the best fragrance oil overall. Im impressed with how mild it is.

Using in body butters and sugar scrubs. For those who like a light musk this is perfect.

As an herbologist I try to choose my scents carefully. My boyfriend moves this on, n has his own soap, shave cream, aftershave motion n beard oil in this scent! It’s amazing!

I thought this musk might be heavy, but was surprised. It took some time for the full musk came to life for me. When it did, it was very pleasurable.

I think maybe I overspoke in the first comment. The African Must that I received today, after letting it sit for awhile on a swart of cloth, the musk oil began to smell more of a musk scent, and it actually smells good. I would purchase this Musk Oil again. It is a strong musk odor, so after adding more ingredients, I think I will have a signature perfume that really smells good.

Clean, crisp yet sweet musk. A little perfume-y but in a good way!

This musk is light and not as "manly" as I'd hoped. However, pair this with the Arabian musk and you get a citrus/sweet scent that is mild. Think Irish Spring with less flowery and more citrus and not as overpowering.
