    Plastic trays

Posted by Orions Galaxy on 26th Apr 2021

I bought four trays thinking that they were out of silicone. But they were not they were all trays I wish in the description it would stipulate that they are plastic and not silicone for us to make better judgment. Silicone is a lot easier to unmold than plastic. But I know that they will make great soaps.

    Sun and moon soap mold

I like the sun and moon design, but it doesn't allow for very thick bars. So that I could make them thicker, I had to cut the bars apart with a sharp nice. The bars do look very nice.

Beautiful design for a soap mold

I bought this as a gift to my friend who makes soap and she can't get over how pretty the design is. She is excited to use the mold.

    Good Design, Sturdy Mold

Posted by Steve Piper on 23rd May 2016

I've made several batches of soap now using these molds, and they hold up very well. It's a nice design with good details, and just the right level of detail that everything transfers to the finished bars. Hint: use a very light coat of vegetable oil spray to help with mold release, then the finished slab pops out easy-squeezy!
