Unscented Body Butter / Heavy Cream Base

It's definitely thick. However I wouldn't call this a cream. Creams have lasting mositure, as they are oil based. This more of a heavy lotion. Add carrier oils of your choice and that'll make it a cream. Love that it's unscented to customized to my liking.

I love the thickness of this body butter and how moisturizing this body butter is. My customers love this product and I do too. Please stay this same thickness or thicker!

I've purchased this product for about 2 years and I loved how thick yet silky this product was... but my last order had a much different consistency as if the formula was changed or something. It was just too thick and my customers have noticed the change as well. Disappointed

I love this cream..I use it in 2oz jars to mix essential oils for all kinds of things. You can put up th 30 drops of essential oil in 2oz and the cream is still wonderfully firm. Being unscented is great so I add my own scent.

I loved this. I was unsure at first because of the consistency. I was under the impression it was more body butter type. I used it yesterday but added some mango butter and mixed it up. Added a fragrance oil and a little peach shimmer mica it was amazing. Because it is a heavy cream, it held the scent well. The same scent that was too overpowering in my body butter was perfect for this lotion. I am labeling it as a heavy cream lotion and will definitely be back to purchase more to create creams for my shop. And the PRICE IS GREAT!!

I decided to try it because it claimed it was thick and heavy cream based. I had purchased their body butter before, and it was much heavier and not so much like a lotion.
It is very smooth and creamy, but really not as thick as I expected. It's more like a thick lotion than a body butter.
I will try mixing other ingredients with it to make it thicker.

This product is great. its a thick cream base that feels like velvet. My customers love it so much. My only issue is that when items on Bulk Apothecary are out of stock they are out of stock for too long.

I bought this several years ago (at the same price as it is today, Kudo's for that guys). I was amazed because it really has no scent. My co-worker did not believe it until I brought some to give his wife. He kept it for himself. A gallon of this lasted as gifts for Christmas. I gave some for the church to give out in gift bags. Everyone loved it. Originally I scented it with the great fragrances you sell, but everyone wanted unscented also. Someone asked the other day for some of Paula's special lotion, so now I will be buying my second gallon, which I recommend so you can share and use yourself.

I purchased 2 16 ounce containers of this 'body butter' in order to make some specialized product for a few clients. I decided to try it because it claimed it was thick and heavy cream based. It was less expensive than what I have been purchasing from another company, so I gave it try.
It is very smooth and creamy, but really not as thick as I expected. It's more like a thick lotion than a body butter. I do like that it is so smooth, but I tested it on sensitive skin (which is one of the main reason I make my own) and it has a tendency to burn a bit on irritated skin, so I could never use for some of my clients.
It does mix well when I add healing oils to it and it does allow me to add scented oils for those who wish for fragrance to be added. I will most likely use this for clients who want a nice thick lotion or light body butter, but I will have to continue to utilize the other product for clients with sensitive skin. I would never risk causing a client pain or increased irritation with any product.
