I did not expect this to be that good. .I tryed it put my extra oils in argan jojoba and watercress oil. .I expected it to go flat no foam but whow its wonderfull and hair feels strong and soft..love it

So I found this base while looking at oils. I really liked the ingredients including the lack of SLS (sodium laurel sulphate) it still has ALS but I'm not concerned so much about that. BUT shipping was really high so I went looking for something else. I'm telling you, I searched the internet for a base that I liked and I came up empty handed. If you wanted SLS free , you paid for it! . So I finally sucked it up and bought a gallon ( also a smaller bottle of the organic that is ALL sulphate free.) I tried it out on my friends and myself( with various essential oils) and discover it left a stripped feeling so I added a carrier oil(like jojoba) and it was perfect !! I LOVE this stuff and would never go back ! My hair is so soft and shiny, it's great stuff. I just recently purchased the conditioner base... Can't wait to try it. :)

I can't say enough about this product, I have tried a number of shampoo bases and this by far is the best! I added essential oils that are best for my hair type and it leaves my hair so soft and shiny!

Due to a family member's sensitivity to fragrance, the only options I have for shampoo and conditioner for my family are fragrance free options. Previously, I was using the Jason fragrance free shampoo. The Bulk Apothecary shampoo lathers better than the Jason, and is significantly less expensive. We will order again.

Today was my first time using it, and it washed my hair beautifully. I have thick dreads and most of my other shampoos would leave a soapy residue after rinsing out all if the shampoo. But with this one, it just leaves my hair clean, it just feels clean, and I am so amazed it washes it so good. The way I check for residue is to take a dreadloc and rub it between my fingers, and when I did it today, my fingers were residue free. I even told my husband about the shampoo to wash his dreadlocs and he loves it as well. You made us a customer for life. Thank you. One Love, Jah Bless.

This shampoo doesn't strip your hair the way that store bought shampoos will. My hair didn't feel dry at all. Overall, it's a great buy.
