Oil works on my arthritic knee joints & enlarged knuckles
Oil of wintergreen has a high concentration of salicylic acid, also found in grapefruits. I use oil externally to ease pain in knee cartilage and joints as well as on my enlarged knuckles. Pain has diminished 30% after a week of liberal application.
Scent of wintergreen helps my sinus and itchy dry throat while getting to sleep. I have not ingest any oil to date, only 3 grapefruits daily for salicylic acid. Found reference of oil of wintergreen in "Raw Vegetable Juices" by N. W. Walker, & RD Pope, M.D, 1963 Ed., page 74.
