Description: Ylang-ylang Essential Oil is extracted from Cananga odorata - also known as flower of flowers. It is a tall tropical tree about 20meters (60 feet) high with large, tender, fragrant pink, mauve or yellow flowers. The yellow heads are viewed as being the best in terms of quality. There are several grades of Ylang-ylang essential oil which are extracted at different times during the flower's lengthy distillation. These grades are referred to as extra, I, II, & III. This is the first distillation of the oil.

Very good quality Ylang Ylang
I prefer to purchase my Ylang Ylang oil from Bulk Apothecary because the quality is much better than one of my other suppliers. This speaks in volumes because I am quite loyal to my distributors.
I recommend the grade #1 for cosmetics and grade # 3 for diffusers. -

Ylang Ylang EO - Soft and sensual
Ylang ylang #1 has such a divine smell. Soft but inviting. I used it in a room spray with water and witch hazel and it really lifts the mood. I look forward to mixing it into some handmade lotions.
I smelled some other brands of ylang ylang and Bulk Apothecary is definitely my top choice. Really great quality. -
I loved the smell
I loved the smell of all the oils, I just wished they came with reducers on them. I haven't been able to use them yet and until I can find reducers that size, that I can buy without having to buy the whole bottle

Yang Ylang Review
As an aromatherapist I am always searching for a superior product for both personal & professional use. The Ylang Ylang essential oil I recently purchased truly fit the bill. Unlike many oils of this type it was neither too heavy nor too overpowering. This particular oil has been found helpful for blood pressure maintainance so it is often in demand.
